my gift for the paper guru, Duc Ly. this is a rather small journal. the smallest ive ever made actually.
Inside sheets are handmade paper, made in a local Franciscan’s convent here in Cebu, Philippines.

I didn’t know the full story about this notebook! Now I even appreciate it more. One because the paper is made from a Convent! Two, I didn’t know that the leather was backed by texture paper! I thought jeez, that must be some strange cow! and the cord, o the chord with the jewl dice!

hehehhe! strange cow eh? yes the leather is backed with a really great handmade paper. go ahead feel it. its just paper, and not cow skin.. heheeh!
